Essence of Christmas

As typical little children do, I would dream on Christmas mourn with all those gifts and toys I knew, I’d find. But as the years go by, I came to realize that Christmas is not merely about material things and I came to ponder that the greatest gift of all is that baby-born one blessed night- Jesus Christ.

We are the reason that He gave His life. We are the reason behind His suffering and death. He gave all He could give to show us the reason to live. How great is He!

Christmas is about His glory. Christmas is about His grace. It is the season which reminds us that God is with us.

Give love everyday! Let’s whole-heartedly share our blessings to our fellow. Merry Christmas! Stay blessed, children of God.

Climate Change

Are You Truly Ready? Then Act Now!

Are you ready? This has been an all-too-familiar question we are often asked to ascertain our degree of readiness and preparedness in anything. The question sometimes finds us staggered and dumbfounded because we are simply not ready even with the question itself.

Being ready is not just about waiting for a disaster to happen and deal with it as it happens. One very important aspect of preparedness which we must often forget is being able to do something to stop these things from worsening.

Who could be ready during this era of consequence? And, as we face the changing climate and its pernicious effects on our lives, when can we say we are ready? Certainly, knowing what we should be ready for is an advantage we have over the other creations. In addition, it is the beginning of our salvation from human extinction.

The climate is changing and the clock is ticking. Rich or poor, young or old, we are all susceptible to the life- threatening effects of climate change. No one will be spared. No one is exempted. Let us do something. Let us not wait for tragedies to happen before we act. Let us prepare now! Let us make a commitment- to achieve a balanced ecology for the present and future generations.
