HERO… HERO… HERO…
By: Basilio Azada Jr.
A
hero was a mortal who had done something so far beyond the normal scope of
human experience that left an immortal memory behind his living and thus,
received worship like the Gods.
Today it is much harder to detach the
concept of heroism from morality. We only call heroes those whom we admire and
wish to emulate. However, we must put in minds that heroes haven’t superpowers
but nevertheless they had contributed a lot and helped us for the improvement
of our lives.
I consider my parents as heroes
specifically my father. My father is a type of man who is shy and very humble.
He is a man with dignity. He is also kind, generous and of course he’s a
perfect man. As the head of our family, he is really doing his responsibilities
taking at risk. He is the best man we could ever have and he deserves to be
recognized like a hero as well.
Right from my growing years, they have
filled my soul with joy and dedication. I am very thankful because they became
as my parents. I am a child who is really proud of and I really don’t know how
I will payback all their love and supports. Only thing I knew was to study
harder and fulfill my dreams in life so that when has come, they will be proud
of me and I will be able to help them also.
When I was still a child, I almost
considered them as heroes though they do not have superpowers but simply, they
really have the true characteristics of a HERO.
